Diego Del Nilo
Biography
Diego Del Nilo was born on September 20, 1974 in Casarano, Italy,
and spent his childhood in the province of Lecce,
where he was deeply influenced by the artistic culture of the Baroque.
At the age of fifteen, Diego moved to Munich, Germany, where he began his artistic journey as an apprentice painter.
After gaining a lot of experience, he obtained the title of master artisan painter. Initially,
Diego worked with the airbrush on motorcycles, helmets and prestigious cars, before evolving his style by dedicating himself to painting on canvas, starting with acrylics and then moving on to oils.
Its style is inspired by the Baroque of the seventeenth century,
with references to chiaroscuro and surrealism, and his works explore universal themes such as good and evil.
Each creation is a tribute to the past and, at the same time, a reflection of contemporary themes.
His works have been exhibited in numerous exhibitions and galleries both nationally and internationally.
